3 Things Today

I got a chance to talk to Y-AM Ortigas Life Group yesterday (May 10) in their small group. I share these 3 pointers to be happy. I actually read this in one of the articles of Bo Sanchez. I have included verses in the bible just to keep focus on God's Direction. 

3 Things TODAY. 3 Things to be HAPPY. 

1.       SOMETHING TO DO.  Colossians 3:17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

What are the things you have been doing now? We are born in the earth for a purpose, we should be reminded that we are living for God's purpose and direction. 

2.       SOMETHING TO LOVE. 1 John 4:17  Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.

What are the things you are passionate about?

If you love God you will not feel alone.  You will certainly get a set of friends and share same passion.

3.       SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO. Philippians 3:14 with my eyes fixed on the goal I push on to secure the prize of God's heavenward call in Christ Jesus.

What are the things are you looking for? What are your dreams?

If you seek God, He will give you a vision for your future.  Example A video game can earn $30M because people are bored, they want to do something everyday in their lives.  

1 Corinthians 9:24- 27 Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win. Everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. They then do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. Therefore I run in such a way, as not without aim; I box in such a way, as not beating the air;but I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified.

Conclusion:  Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain." - 1 Corinthians 15:58

Whatever you are doing now, always think that your acts are seen by God. I know that everyday of our lives we have something to do, something to love, something to look forward to.
