Temporary Home by Carrie Underwood

Little boy, 6 years old A little too used to bein' alone Another new mom and dad, another school
Another house that'll never be home When people ask him how he likes this place
He looks up and says with a smile upon his face
"This is my temporary home It's not where I belong Windows and rooms that I'm passin' through
This is just a stop, on the way to where I'm going I'm not afraid because I know this is my Temporary Home."
Young mom on her own She needs a little help got nowhere to go She's lookin' for a job, lookin' for a way out
Because a half-way house will never be a home At night she whispers to her baby girl
Someday we'll find a place here in this world
"This is our temporary home It's not where we belong Windows and rooms that we're passin' through
This is just a stop, on the way to where we're going I'm not afraid because I know this is our Temporary Home.
Old man, hospital bed The room is filled with people he loves And he whispers don't cry for me
I'll see you all someday He looks up and says "I can see God's face"
"This is my temporary Home It's not where I belong Windows and rooms that I'm passin' through
This was just a stop,on the way To where I'm going I'm not afraid because I know this was My temporary home."
This is our temporary home

A Decade of Friendship

I promised to write a short message to the people I shared my college life with. J

From different regions, provinces and tribe of the Pearl of the Orient, young and pretty ladies met up in a State University in Manila.

@ Mitch's House, Citta Italia, Cavite

To name the cast: Caren Esguerra- a very moody but hot single lady, Vicky Esguerra-Tinio- one of the brightest among us, a book lover and boyish before but she got married after college, Jham Buita- who has a strong sex appeal, guys are attracted to her because of her looks, Carol Mangila- a very good listener amongst us, she loves spending time with friends and listens to our murmuring and never ending stories, Michelle Gososo-a very adventurous lady who is travelling in Asian countries and  very hospitable friend, Jean Magcawas- who loves sharing her things, she is passionately in love with her family and friends, Myra Caluag and Roselyn Bautista – nowhere to find but they are in our hearts wherever we had gathering.

These girls had shared common talks in the schools until we called ourselves as “barkada”.  Before, we felt that life is pointless until we met a group of people in our school that shared the Gospel of Christ. From there, our perspective about life deepened and started to be accountable with each other. Truly, friendship started with laughter and eventually it will be tested through trials. But hey!  We are still alive and kicking. After a decade, there were a lot of worth sharing lessons and experiences. I realized that life after college is the application of what we have learned in the school.

I valued the memories with them, how I wish to go back then. If they would ask me again about college year’s experiences, I would say that Life is more meaningful when I met them and we met Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.

Though miles may lie between us we are never far apart, for friendship doesn’t count miles it’s measured by the heart.  Friends, thank you for all the laughter, cries, time, kindness, joy and love; it’s indeed worth sharing.

Now, we are counting a decade of being together as “friends” and still counting…
